Ayesha T. Washington is a native of Charleston, South Carolina, known for her distinctive style of advocacy that inspires trust and confidence in her clients. Her approach to the practice of law reflects a deep commitment to integrity, compassion, and the practical wisdom necessary to achieve meaningful results.
Before establishing her own firm, Ayesha served as a senior associate at a prominent Charleston law firm, where she represented both injured individuals and companies, as well as defended insurance carriers.
Ayesha earned her degrees from Clemson University, the University of South Carolina School of Law, and the graduate program at The Citadel. She was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2002, the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina in 2005, and the United States Supreme Court in 2008.
Her practice focuses on nursing home litigation, complex personal injury, railroad worker injury (FELA) cases, train and trucking accidents, probate administration, estate litigation, guardianship and conservatorship matters, and premises liability (slip and fall) claims.
Beyond her legal work, Ayesha is deeply engaged in her community. She serves on the Board of Metanoia, previously led the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association as President in 2020, and chaired the Small and Solo Firm Section of the South Carolina Bar. She is an active member of St. Matthew Baptist Church and the Charleston Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
